We draw the void before the mass. In fourteen years we have designed towers that open holes in the skyline, houses that stand in the void and museums linked by voids.

- Void first. We draw not the mass but what is taken out of it.
- Typology is questioned. Tower, house, museum; none has a ready-made form.
- Courage is measured. Every radical proposal comes with a cost and performance study.
- The void is public. We open the best part of the building to everyone.
- A mark on the skyline. A building the city does not remember is incomplete.
